It was a lot hotter out today than I expected," Midoriya replied. She kissed his forehead waited for an answer to her initial question. Midoriya groaned and hugged his mother with the same force. "Oh geez I held you when you were covered in your own throw-up, a little sweat doesn't bother me." "Mom, I'm all sweaty!" Midoriya announced while hesitantly hugging his mother in return. "Izuku! How was practice?" She beamed while pulling Midoriya into a tight hug. Inko set her iron upright and walked over to her favorite son. "Hi Mom," Midoriya said while setting down his bag. The television was set to the tennis channel as she glanced up from time to time when the announcer's voice got the slightest bit louder. He silently opened the door to his apartment where his mother was ironing clothes. The bright light from the Sunday sun illuminated everything around him with positivity and the excitement of spring. The green-haired high school boy slipped through the crowds while making his way to his apartment. Crosswalks and streets were gaining population by the second. The strings draped over his shoulders, the handle of the racket occasionally tapped the back of his head as he began the walk home. He set the head of the racket in the drawstring bag along with his headband and towel. All Might chuckled and ruffled the boy's sweaty hair. ![]() ![]() Midoriya ran the words through his head, trying to remember if he made room for that in his schedule. Everyone who is interested is encouraged to show." Practice for the season is starting tomorrow after school. "I'll see you Tuesday evening?" All Might asked. Even though training with All Might felt like Hell at times, he was improving. He could hit the ball, he could serve, much more than he could do a year ago, which was exactly nothing.
